Minutes from quartz sand beaches, as well as diverse nature preserves, Sarasota is a lovely place to live where one can revel in the beauty of the natural surroundings year round. Ideal candidates have a strong desire to be outdoors for the majority of their days; they possess naturalist skills, have an interest in developmentally appropriate education, and bring a solid track record of successful teaching or childcare experience.
We seek positive, kindhearted, curious individuals who love children, teaching, learning, and can work in a collaborative manner. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
We are an outdoor school that welcomes a pioneering spirit with a willingness to share an enthusiasm for alternative education and community building. We have been featured in National Geographic, as well as local publications for our presence in the outdoor school movement.
