Little Seedlings Parent/Child Program

Little Seedlings – Parent and Child Nature Program

Forest Fridays for Parent and Child “Come and join me in the wild”
Nurturing the seeds of mini-naturalists and their parents (Ages 2-4 with Mom and/or Dad)

Join us each week for exploring, discovering, and connecting in the wonder of the natural world, all while nurturing, growing and deepening relationships with each other, all of creation and all relations here on earth.

Each class will include nature games and activities to enhance naturalist skills, songs, nature art, honoring the elements, giving thanks, snack time, and freedom to explore. We will use our senses through fox walk, deer ears, eagle eyes, raccoon hands, and bear nose to connect and commune with nature, while simultaneously learning more about the native trees, birds, animals, insects and plants of our area. Be present with your child in local preserves and nature spots, playing, birding, tracking, collecting, and crafting.

With the rest of your week moving at warp speed, this is a precious time to connect with your child in nature, develop your naturalist skills, make new friends, and build community together.

This class meets Fridays from 10-12:30 and is offered in 7-8 week sessions throughout the year. The cost is $25 per class, billed in advance.

Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Mid-session registrations are accepted based on availability; in this case, tuition is prorated based on the start date. .
